What is the cost to join the Ontario Made program?
There are absolutely no fees to being a part of the Ontario Made program. The program is managed by Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME), a non-profit business association dedicated to helping your manufacturing business grow.
What products qualify?
Qualifying manufactured goods are those that have undergone their last substantial transformation in the province of Ontario. This does not necessarily mean these goods qualify for under "Made in Canada" labeling requirements as determined by the Competition Bureau of Canada.
What is the Ontario Made logo?
While it’s been easy to spot locally grown produce items, that hasn’t been the case for all locally made manufactured goods. To change this, Ontario Made is a symbol reserved for approved participants of the program to bolster your credibility. The logo can be added to your products, marketing materials, social media, website, and more.
